The company was founded by Mr. Sombat Lohkittivanich, especially to carry out the business of cryogenic vessel manufacture in Thailand.
The company expanded its capacity to the growing demand of customers and moved to the current area.
To ensure its highest standard, Cryotech acquired the certificate of manufacture from ASME (American Society of Mechanical-Engineers). We are the U stamp holder and export tanks to the world from that day forward.
Seeing that the growing scarcity of oil is the potential problem, the company started its first renewable energy project. At the end of year 2003, we built and operated a plant to convert landfill gas to liquid methane.
Cryotech introduced the first local built and registered semi-trailer with a capacity of 28,000 liters. Currently our 36,000 liters units are delivering gases to the industries not only in Thailand but over the whole of Asia.
Cryotech continued its project on energy side. The company supported Cryothai in fulfilling a contract with Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) for building a small size Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant. The plant located at Rayong, is the 1st LNG plant ever built and operated in Thailand.
Cryotech starts a strategic alliance with the Rootselaar group based in the Netherlands. It is structured in a new joint venture, Cryotech Asia, in which the Rootselaar Group has taken a 50% interest. The other 50% is held by the Lohkittivanich family.
Cryotech Asia Co. Ltd. was certified by Bureau Veritas for ISO9001 quality system. In this year the first series of ISO tank containers (UN T75) are being produced.
The factory is expanded to 8000 m2.
The offices are re-built and modernized.
